Wristbands

Do I need wristbands if I've booked at the Norbreck?

If you have booked using the Accommodation Pool Package, your wristbands are included in your package / price.

How do I get free wristbands?

To get free wristbands, you must book the Pool Accommodation Package with the Norbreck Castle hotel, once your team has been accepted. See the accommodation package.

Is there a Junior wristband rate?

No, we do not offer a junior wristband rate. Juniors playing in the main tournament during the weekend must have a standard players wristband.

There is a separate ‘Junior Singles’ event that is open to anyone aged 17 or under at date of tournament. A players wristband is not required for this. Juniors can simply attend on the day to participate. The Junior Series.

What happens if I lose my wristband?

You must buy a replacement at full price. This is a strict policy. Fit your wristband as soon as you receive it.

What happens if I damage my wristband?

Exchange it free of charge at the organisers’ desk. You must return the damaged wristband.

I’m staying elsewhere. What do I need to do?

If you have not booked the Norbreck pool accommodation package, buy a weekend tournament wristband at the event on Thursday evening or Friday morning. See Novice wristband prices or Pro-Am wristband prices.

When and where can I collect my wristband?

Players who booked the accommodation package can collect their tournament wristbands from the playing arena after hotel check-in on Thursday.

What to wear

Dress code

Must I only wear black trousers or skirts?

Dress code states any colour trousers, chinos, tailored shorts or skirts are acceptable, providing they look smart. No scruffy attire, tracksuits or fancy dress.

Can I wear trainers or pumps in the playing arena?

Only plain black trainers are allowed. No coloured trainers or pumps are allowed in the playing arena whilst playing in any main event. Players must wear formal shoes, black trainers, flats, wedges or high heels. There is no rule about colour of formal shoes but we advise footwear should look smart.

Can I wear my tracksuit bottoms in the playing arena?

Tracksuits or jogging bottoms are not allowed to be worn whilst playing in any main event. They may be worn whilst renting tables or playing in flyers.

Can I enter the Men's singles, without being in a team?

Sorry, only men playing in the team event can enter the Men's Singles. It's so popular that we need to give priority to those in teams.

Is there a gym at the hotel?

Yes, there is a gym at the hotel. To use the gym you must purchase a day pass for £2 or a weeks pass for £5. There is also a swimming pool guests can use. Hotel facilities.
